AMIE Aspirants

I want to apply for Associate Member of The Institution of Engineers AMIE Exam so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria for exam?

The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). The Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development considers this qualification equivalent to a degree in engineering.

An applicant becomes an Associate of the Institution of Engineers (AIE) by passing this examination completely.

The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work, Laboratory experiments and Section B examination of the Institution.

AMIE Eligibility:

Candidates having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering or +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks can apply for AMIE 2017.

A candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations, both in Existing Scheme and Revised Scheme, within a specific period as mentioned hereunder :

Section A : 6 Years

Section B : 6 Years
