The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India).

The qualification can be earned by passing Section A, Project Work, Laboratory experiments and Section B examination of the Institution.

AMIE Exam Eligibility

Candidates having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering or +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks

A candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations, both in Existing Scheme and Revised Scheme, within a specific period as mentioned hereunder :

Section A : 6 Years

Section B : 6 Years

AMIE Examination fee:

a) AMIE examination fee is Rs 2000 (rupees two thousand only) for candidates appearing in any center in India

b) $ 150 (one hundred and fifty US dollars) for candidates appearing outside India).

This examination fee is irrespective of the number of subjects you appear at the time or the number of chances.
