AMIE What Is

What is Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) Course? Also provide me the details of the course?

The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India).

AMIE is a B.Tech level examination in engineering, recognized by all State Governments, Central Govt., AICTE, UPSC etc as equivalent to B.E/B.Tech.

AMIE Duration-

A candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations, both in Existing Scheme and Revised Scheme, within a specific period as mentioned hereunder :

Section A : 6 Years
Section B : 6 Years

AMIE Eligibility:

Candidates having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering or +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks

AMIE examination fee:

AMIE examination fee is Rs 2000 (rupees two thousand only) for candidates appearing in any center in India

$ 150 (one hundred and fifty US dollars) for candidates appearing outside India).
