The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India). AMIE is a B.Tech level examination in engineering, recognized by all State Governments, Central Govt., AICTE, UPSC etc as equivalent to B.E/B.Tech. AMIE Duration- A candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations, both in Existing Scheme and Revised Scheme, within a specific period as mentioned hereunder : Section A : 6 Years Section B : 6 Years AMIE Eligibility: Candidates having recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering or +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with minimum 45% marks AMIE examination fee: AMIE examination fee is Rs 2000 (rupees two thousand only) for candidates appearing in any center in India $ 150 (one hundred and fifty US dollars) for candidates appearing outside India).
