No problem buddy I will tell you the qualification criteria to apply for IAS so that you can remember easily. Eligibility Qualification Criteria A degree of graduation in any stream from any recognized University recognized by the University grants Commission as lay down by the Parliament and the Legislature. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination and are waiting for the result are also eligible to apply provided they submit the certificate of qualification along with the mark sheet to the UPSC in the DAF before the Main Exam Nationality For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India. For other services, a candidate must be either :— A citizen of India, or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee Exam pattern The Examination shall comprise of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. (i) Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions). (ii) The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English. However, questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level will be tested through passages from English Language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.
