I want to appear in Combined Medical Service Examination of UPSC so please tell me that what are the Age Limit, Exam Centers, and Qualification required for this.

Hi Varsha,

The Age Limit for CMS Exam should be, the candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 01.01.2013 and there are 41 CMS Exam Centres.

For admission to the Combined Medical Services examination 2012 a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.

The Notification for CMS Exam is not issued, so please wait...

Hi

The Dentists cannot apply for Combined Medical Service Exam. Only the M.B.B.S. candidates can apply for CMS exam conducts by UPSC.

Combined Medical Services Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Following are the details of this examination:

Tentative Schedule
(i) Notification of Examination August
(ii) Conduct of Examination January

Age - limits:
Below 32 years on 1st January of the year of Examination

Required qualification:
The applicant should be passed in the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.

Scheme of Examination
Paper I (200 marks)
General Medicine including Cardiology, Neurology, Dermatology and Psychiatry

Surgery including ENT, Ophthalmology, Traumatology and Orthopaedics

Paper II (200 Marks)
Paediatrics
Gynaecology and Obstetrics
Preventive, Social and Community Medicine
