How To Get Admission In IIST For BTECH

Hello sir, here I came to get admission in IIST for N.Tech program. Can any one tell me how to get admission in IIST for B.Tech? which exam is present for B.tech admission in IIST?

For B.tech admission in IIST every candidates wants to qualify entrance exam of IIST for B.tech admission.

The institute will not conduct its own entrance examination. Earlier the admission in IIST was granted on the basis of JEE Advanced rank. However, last year, the All India Rank of JEE Main was used to prepare IIST rank list.

IIST provides JEE entrance for B.Tech admission in its college. The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), is a government-funded organization, which is also a deemed University.

It was established in 2007 and is located in Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala). It is Asia’s first institute which is dedicated to research of the Space Science.

Education Qualification:

Candidates are Qualifying exam should have been passed with an aggregate of, at least, 70% marks (60% for SC, ST, PwD) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.

Important dates:

Apply for CBSE JEE Main 2016 between
01st Dec 2015 to 31st Dec 2015.

Appear in the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) being conducted by CBSE on
3rd April 2016 and 09th-10th April 2016

Apply for IIT JEE Advanced 2016 between
29th April 2016 to 04th May 2016.

Appear in the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) being conducted by IITs on 22nd May 2016.

Check score obtained in JEE Advanced 2016.
