Admission Form of IIST

Can you please provide me the admission form to the undergraduate courses of the IIST?

IIST is Asia’s first Space Institute and the first in the world that is to offer the complete range of undergraduate, post graduate, doctoral programmes to the students with specific focus to space science, technology and applications.

The institute was set up in year January 2007, when IIST was registered as a Society under the Travancore -Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955.

Here are the details of the undergraduate admissions to the institute –

IIST offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programmes in three branches, namely
(i) Aerospace Engineering
(ii) Avionics and
(iii) Physical sciences.

The total number of seats for the B.Tech Programmes in IIST for the academic year 2014-15 is 156.
Seats distribution at the institute
B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering : 60
B.Tech. in Avionics : 60
B.Tech. in Physical Sciences : 36

Candidates who are desirous to join B.Tech Programmes in IIST must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2014 that is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi to qualify themselves to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced)-2014 that is conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced)-2014 to get the admission to the institute

Opening of web site for online filling of choice for various courses in IITs and ISM
June 20, 2014

Closing of web site for online filling of choice for various courses in IITs and ISM
June 24, 2014

Web release of 1st round of seat allocation July 01, 2014

Last Date of Acceptance and Online Payment of Provisional Admission Fee for candidates allocated seats in 1st Round July 04, 2014

Web release of 2nd round of seat allocation July 07, 2014

Last Date of Acceptance and Online Payment of Provisional Admission Fee for candidates allocated seats in 2nd Round July 10, 2014

Withdrawal of seat and refund of provisional admission fee July 09 to 11, 2014
(closes at 5:00 PM on July 11, 2014)

Web release of 3rd round of seat allocation July 12, 2014

Last Date of Acceptance and Online Payment of Provisional Admission Fee for candidates allocated seats in 3rd Round July 14, 2014
