Whether MDBA course is equivalent to MBA?

The fact is that, now I have applied for a Ph.D course under CMJ University, Shillong. My application is under consideration, meanwhile they have asked me a question whether my "MDBA" course is equivalent to MBA or not. I have taken time from them to reply back.

You are to know similarity between MBA and MDBA so MBA is stand for Master of Business Administration and It is a management degree program and MDBA is Master Diploma in Business Administration and it is diploma program which offer management course. MBA is more popular than MDBA and career opportunities are better in MBA. If you do MBA from any good university through CAT then you can get good job with good salary package. MBA and MDBA have almost same course material but value of MBA is more than MDBA.

MBA or MDBA course are same at some time, but MBA is a degree course & MDBA is a Diploma management course, MBA is more popular than MDBA, MBA has also good placement opportunities than MDBA.
