 Is diploma equivalent to 10+2 to apply for IAF Air Warrior
Is diploma considered as equivalent to 10+2, Can I apply for jobs in IAF as an Air Warrior after diploma?

No, Diploma is not considered as equivalent to 10+2 for the purpose of joining Indian Air Force. Also, No, you can not apply for jobs in IAF as an Air Warrior after diploma, for Air Warrior the applicant should have Graduation in Engineering. Selection procedure: Selection is based on AFCAT Entry (Air Force Common Admission Test) score. AFCAT written test which is of 300 marks and based upon Math’s, General Knowledge and English.

Hello I am a diploma student of mechanical engineering and I want to know that is diploma is equivalent to 10+2 and can I apply for IAF exam to be an Air Warrior.

Hey there, here I am giving you a fact that diploma is not considered as 10+2 because diploma is a specified subject course of about generally 3 year so you are more than 10+2. and as you want to be an air warrior so I am giving you an idea of criteria of the IAF exam. Eligibility: Soldier Technical 10 + 2/ HSC pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 45 percent in aggregate and pass in each subject; 10th class pass in with min 50 percent marks in aggregate, if three years diploma in Engineering from an AICTE recognized institute Age: Soldier General Duty: 17 years and 6 months to 21 years Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Asst: 17 years and 6 months to 23 years Soldier Tradesman (All ARMS): 17 years and 6 months to 23 years Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical: 17 years and 6 months to 23 years Selection procedure: Applicants would be selected on the basis of their performance in the Common Entrance Exam, Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test and Medical Exam. How to Apply: Applicants would have to bring the essential documents such as mark sheets, caste and age proof at Kodiram Murthy Stadium and Govt College, Srikakulam
