The AMIETE Graduate Level examinations, is recognized by the Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD & Union Public Service Commission for the purpose of recruitment to superior posts & services under the Central Govt. Several State Govts, Universities and Institutions in India and abroad have also recognised AMIETE.

This degree is not equivalent to B.Tech degree.

Yes, AMIETE offer a valid bachelors degree in engineering. AMIETE has been recognized by Ministry of Railway equivalent degree in engineering for the recruitment to superior services/posts under the Central Government and also by many universities/Institutes for purpose of admission to Higher education in respective Engg disciplines.

MHRD recognizes AMIETE courses as revised, conducted be The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers as equivalent to bachelor's degree to the engineering for the purpose of employment and higher education.
