I want to give the exam of Karnataka Administrative Services so for that I need to get the eligibility criteria for the age limit so can you please help me in giving this information? Karnataka Public Service Commission is the apex body for the staff selection. It conducts administrative services exam. Eligibility for KAS Age Limit : Minimum Age : 21 years Maximum : 35 years Upper age limit relaxation: 5 years: For SC/ST 3 years : For Other backward category candidates. 10 years: For Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates. Upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of a candidate who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union. Qualification: Applicant should Possesses Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree . Degree must be awarded by a University established under Law in India . As you want to get the eligibility criteria for the age limit of the exam of Karnataka Administrative Services so here is the information of the same for you: Age limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and not attained the age of 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of application or on such other date as may be specified by the Government. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years for Other backward category candidates. Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates. Upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of a candidate who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union. Attempts at the examination: Unlimited number of attempts in case of candidate belongs to SC/ST ( Age limit considered). 7 attempts in case of candidate belongs Other backward caste. 5 attempts to General merit candidates. Academic qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree awarded by a University established Law in India are Possesses an equivalent qualification. Candidates who have appeared for an examination, passing of which would render them educationally qualified for preliminary examination conducted by the Commission, but the results of which have not been declared, are also eligible for admission to such preliminary examination
