Hey buddy The Indian Defence Accounts Service [IDAS] is a group "A" gazetted central civil-service of the government of India the parent department being the Defence Accounts Department [DAD] under the aegis of Ministry of Defence, Finance Division. It is the oldest department under the government of india.

Selection Process

There are two ways of selection for these posts

1st thorough the Combined Defence Services conducted by the UPSC

2nd by the promotion of the Senior Accountant officer in the Accounts
