Sol: II is Indane-1,2,3-trione. It forms a stable
hydrate known as ninhydrin which is
stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen
bonding. IV is chloral which also forms
stable chloral hydrate

38. The symbols F, H, S, Vm and E0 denote ------
Ans : F, H, S, are extensive; Vm and E0 intensive
