For doing Chartered Accountant (CA), you have to enroll with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; the CA course has following three stages:

Common Proficiency test (CPT)
Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
Final Examination

As you have completed B. com you will be exempted for the Common Proficiency Course, you can directly apply for the IPCC. The IPCC covers following subjects:

IPCC:

Group I
Paper I-Accounting
Paper II-Business Laws,Ethics and Communication
paper III-Cost Accounting and Financial Management
Paper Iv-Taxation

Group II
Paper V-Advanced Accounting
Paper VI-Auditing and Assurance
Paper VII-Information Technology and Strategic Management

The subjects which include in the Final Stage are:

Group I
Paper I-Financial Reporting
Paper II-Strategic Financial Management
Paper III-Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics
Paper IV-Corporate and Allied Laws

Group II
Paper V-Advanced Management Accounting
Paper VI-Information System control and Audit
Paper VII-Direct Tax Laws
Paper VIII-indirect tax Laws

CA course is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

To become CA there are three level after 12th but you have complete your graduation so you have to clear only two level without appearing in level 1 (CPT). After B.Com you can begin from IPCC level itself.

You have purse the following two levels –

Intermediate Course (IPCC)
Final course

Intermediate Course of ICWAI Eligibility

Candidates who have passed the foundation course and are not less than 18 years

Graduates can directly enroll to the intermediate course without doing the foundation course of ICWAI.

Final Course Eligibility

Candidates who have passed all the eight papers of ICWAI Intermediate Course can apply for Final course of ICWAI.
