You must completed the graduation in any discipline form recognized university ..

Age Limit:
Minimum age : 21 years
Maximum age : you should not attained the age of 35 years as on date of receipt of application

KAS Exam in constructed in the following section:
Preliminary Examination (Stage-I)
Main Examination (Stage-II)
Personality Test (Stage-III)

General Science & Tech, Environment &

Part II: Main Examination-:

Paper-I Kannada 150
Paper-II English 150
Paper III & IV General Studies 300
Paper V,VI, VII, & VIII Two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subject. Each subject will have two papers 300(Each Paper)

Tentative Dates for KAS Exam:-
Sale of Application Form : 11th November,
Last Date to apply online and submit the fees :12th December and 13th Dec,
Date of Written test for Prelims : 1st week of February
Last Date for Online Registration for KAS Mains Exam- last week of May 2013
KAS Mains Examination Date : Mid June.
