How to become an IAS officer after Engineering (ECE)??? What are the basic criteria for it???

To become an IAS officer after Engineering (ECE) you should start preparation for the IAS entrance examination which is conducted by the UPSC. Following are the details of entrance examination:

Eligibility:

The applicant should have a degree from a recognized university. You should have minimum age of 21 years.

Relaxation for reserved category's in age
For OBC upto 33 years
For SC/ST/PD candidates upto 35 years

Number of attempts:

General candidates will gets : 4 Chances
OBC Candidates : 7 Chances
SC/ST Candidates : No Limits
