Default Process to become CID officer after engineering in IT

I have passed engineering in IT and now I want to become CID officer and for that I want to get the details of process to become CID officer after engineering in IT so can you provide me that as it is very urgent for me?

As you want to get the process to become CID officer after engineering in IT so here is the information of the same for you:

Qualifying exam:
Candidates who wants to join CID must appear in the Indian Civil Services examination that is held by the Union Public Service Commission.

Who is eligible to apply?
The minimum qualification required for a candidate to join as a constable in the CID is a pass in class 12. If one aspires to join as a Sub Inspector, he/she should have cleared graduation. Graduation is the requirement for officer level post as well.

The basic qualification for this course is a pass in class 10+2 with a milieu in arts or science. For those candidates who have a background in law, special courses in criminology are available.
