Approximately 3, 50,000 candidates take part in this entrance test. Following are the admission requirements: Educational requirements: The applicant must have A Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognized University. Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply on provision. So the Candidates who want to become an IPS Officer, they must have to appear in the CSAT Examination conducted by UPSC. Exams to appear Preliminary exam (CSAT) Mains exam Interview Eligibility Criteria Age Limit: 21 to 30 Years Education: The Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree from any recognized University. There is no requirement that you have first division in Bachelor Degree. Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India. Here you want to get the procedure to apply for IPS Examination, so I want to inform you that the UPSC will conduct the CSAT examination in the month of August. The UPSC will release the notification for examination in May. When the notification will be released, you can apply for the CSAT Exam. To apply for the CSAT Exam, you have to apply through online on the official website of UPSC.
