Any buddy, please tell me the admission requirement to become Indian Police Services Officer………………

To become Indian Police Services Officer you need to clear the IPS (Indian Police Services) exam which is organized by Union public service commission (UPSC) every year. Approximately 3, 50,000 candidates take part in this entrance test. Following are the admission requirements:

Educational requirements:
The applicant must have A Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognized University. Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply on provision.

Age Limit :
General Category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
OBC-21-33yrs
SC/ST-21-35yrs

Attempts :
General Category-4 times
OBC-7 times
SC/ST-Unlimited times

Indian Police Services is a reputed examination for recruitment in police force conducted by UPSC.. Here I am giving you information about the Indian Police Services examination below ..

Indian Police Services exam details :

Eligibility::
For participate in the IPS exam you have to passed any undergraduate degree from any well recognized Indian University

Age limit :
Your age should be minimum of 21 years as on 1st August of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date.

The IPS selection process is consist in three way
1)Preliminary exam
2)Main exam
3)Interview.

Exam pattern :
Paper 1:: 200 marks
Paper 2: 200 marks

Main examination :
Paper Marks
1 Essay type Indian Language Qualifying Paper 300
1 English Qualifying Paper 300
1 General Essay Type Paper 200
2 General Studies Papers 300
4 Optional Subjects Papers 300

Physical requirement


Height – Male 165 cm & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm
Female 150 cm & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm
Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.
Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye.
6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye.

To become an IPS officer, you need to crack the Civil Services Exam, conducted by the UPSC on behalf of the government of India every year. The eligibility details for this examination are as following:

Eligibility:
Candidate must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

Candidate must be minimum 21 years of age as on 1st August of the year of exam. Upper age limit is 30 years (Relaxations for SC/ST, OBC).

No.Of Attempts:
General:4
OBC:7
SC/ST: No Limit

This examination is divided in to following sections:
1) Preliminary exam
2) Main exam
3) Interview

So you should take admission in the 11th after the 10 th exam after the completion of the 11th and 12th you have to choose the graduation course of your interest in the recognized university.

The Indian Police Services Officer is the prestigious civil services exam conducted by UPSC. The basic eligibility criteria to become an Indian Police Services Officer are as following:

Eligibility:
The applicant must have completed under graduate degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification.

Age
You must have attained the age of 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date.

Nationality:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The Examination for IPS is conducted by UPSC.

So the Candidates who want to become an IPS Officer, they must have to appear in the CSAT Examination conducted by UPSC.

Exams to appear
Preliminary exam (CSAT)

Mains exam

Interview

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 21 to 30 Years

Education: The Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree from any recognized University.

There is no requirement that you have first division in Bachelor Degree.

Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Here you want to get the procedure to apply for IPS Examination, so I want to inform you that the UPSC will conduct the CSAT examination in the month of August.

The UPSC will release the notification for examination in May. When the notification will be released, you can apply for the CSAT Exam.

To apply for the CSAT Exam, you have to apply through online on the official website of UPSC.
