Here are the details required to Central Bureau of Investigation officer:

Qualifying Exam

The Candidates who want to join the CBI must write the Union Public Service Commission Examination.
Those candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.

Eligibility:

The Candidates who are applying for the UPSC examination must be citizens of India.

They must be at least 20 years at the time of applying.

The SC/ST/OBC candidates must be at least 30 years when they apply.

The candidates who qualify in the written test will be later called for a Physical Test and Interview.

As you want to become CBI officer then let me tell you that is a good career to choice but for that you will have to do plod means hard work for it once you will become CBI officer then you will have a huge amount of responsibilities and challenges to be a good officer so good luck for that the basic eligibility for CBI officer is as follows

Basic Eligibility is as follows

Aspirants who want to become CBI officer then you will have to give exam which is being conducted by UPSC for the post of Sub-inspector and then approach the CBI department.

You should keep yourself updated about the recruitment and Entrance exam for the same, which you can find in employment news (news paper) by the end of December every year and you can visit official website of SSC and UPSC for latest updates regularly

You can get application form from the designated head post office throughout the country.

The minimum qualification for appearing in UPSC exam is Bachelors degree in any discipline.

The exam is conducted in two phases

1. Preliminary exam
2. Main exam
The preliminary exam is held in the month of May/June and the Main Examination in October/November.

Minimum age-21 years
Maximum age-30 years
Age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years and OBC is 3 years.

Paper Pattern

Part I - Written Examination
Reasoning:
Verbal Tests- Reasoning tests and Logic tests
Non Verbal Tests

General Awareness:
General Topics
Current Events

English Language:
English Vocabulary
English proficiency
English Comprehension

Part II - Personality Test (Interview): (100 marks)
English Language
Language Comprehension
Communication / Writing
Ability Test
