Preparation Tips for Infosys Written Exam

Can you give me some Infosys Written Examination???

Infosys Company carries out campus placement process in all the leading colleges every year for selecting excellent candidates as per the requirement

Pattern:

As usual according to the latest system of INFY selection process there were two rounds:-
1) Written (Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal)
2) Personal (HR) Interview

WRITTEN EXAM:-

The written exam consisted of first 40 mins contributed to logical reasoning and aptitude consisting of 30 questions of normally average level.

MAJOR AREAS COVERED:
1) SYLLOGISM
2) ODD ONE OUT FIGURE
3) BAR CHART DATA INTERPRETATION
4) DATA SUFFICIENCY

The next 35mins in the written examination was for verbal test consisting of 40questions. (including 2 comprehensions followed by 5 questions each, sentence correction, fill in the blanks etc.)

One must prepare at least the MBA materials to clear the written examinations.
Books to prepare for the written exam:

(1) Puzzles to Puzzle you - Shakuntala Devi (very Important)

(2) More Puzzles - Shakuntala Devi (very Important)

(3) Puzzles and Teasers - George Sammers (very very Important)

(4) Brain Teasers - Ravi Narula (Optional, but few old sums are here)

(5) Quantitative Aptitude - R.S Agarwal ( Important)

(6) Verbal Reasoning - R.S Agarwal (very very Important)

(7) Previous Papers - freshers group, etc.

Here the interviewing panel (HR Round) will ask the questions about

Themselves/career aspirations
Family background
Key projects they have done
Experience gained from college life
Candidate’s most memorable life moments, etc

Infosys placement questions are very tough and you need to do regular homework and hard work to crack this examination. Following are some tips to crack this exam:
You should be thorough with basic aptitude and the best way to do is by solving entire Quantitative Aptitude by R.S. AGRAWAL at least 2-3 times, never lose your confident, Try to follow At least 20 previous questions paper. IF you study only this material, surely, 80% of work is done as most of times puzzles are repeatedly asked. Try to solve as many problems/puzzles from Shakuntala devi’s two puzzles books
