Can I make I career in Navy, as I am a girl, and came to know that girls can not apply for the Navy……..

Yes sure, girls can apply for the Navy, but there are not many posts available there for the girl applicant. Girls can be selected for only Short service commissions whose service is for a maximum period of 13years only.

For this post you need to apply for the CDS exam which is conducted by UPSC twice every year in the month of February and august every year.

Aviation & Education Branches

SSC -ATC
Age : 19½ - 25
Qualification:
First Class Science Graduate with Physics/ Maths/ Electronics or MSc with Physics/ Maths/ Electronics with min 55% marks.

SSC- Observer
Age: 19-23
Qualification:
A graduate Degree in any discipline with min 55% marks with Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level.

SSC Law
Age: 22 - 27
Qualification:
A Degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act 1961 with min 55% marks.

SSC Logistics
Age: 19½ - 25
Qualification:
1st Class Degree in BA (Economics), BCom, BSc(IT), CA/ ICWA, Catering Technology or BCA/ MCA, or B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computers, IT, Architecture or Graduate with PG Diploma in Material Management.

SSC Education
Age: 21 - 25
Education:
A Master's Degree in following with at least 50% marks Physics (with Maths in B Sc) or Maths (with Physics in B Sc) Computer Application or B.E/ B.Tech in Mech/ Electrical/ Electronics / IT/ Computer Science with 60% marks.
SSC(Naval Architecture)
Age: 21 - 25
Qualification:
BE/BTech in Naval Architecture/ Mech/ Civil/ Aeronautical/ Metallurgical/ Aerospace Engg with 60% marks.

University Entry Scheme (SSC)(Naval Architecture)
Age: 19 - 24
Qualifcation:
BE/BTech in Naval Architecture/ Mech/ Civil/ Aeronautical/ Metallurgical/Aerospace Engg with 60% marks.
