Yes you can join Indian Navy but you have to go through the Short Service Commission (SSC) exam. It is conducted by UPSC.

Presently the girls are inducted into the following branches of the Navy as Officers:
1. ATC
2. Observer
3. Law
4. Logistics
5. Education
6. Naval Architecture

Eligibility Criteria for these branches:

Age limit: 19½ - 25
Educational Qualification: I division Graduate degree in Science with Physics/ Maths/ Electronics or MSc with Physics/ Maths/ Electronics with min 55% marks.

SSC- Observer
Age limit: 19-23
Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree in any discipline with min 55% marks with Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level.

Age limit: 22 - 27
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act 1961 with min 55% marks.

SSC Logistics
Age limit: 19½ - 25
Educational Qualification: I division Degree in BA (Economics), BCom, BSc(IT), CA/ ICWA, Catering Technology or BCA/ MCA, or B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computers, IT, Architecture or Graduate with PG Diploma in Material Management.

According to your eligibility you can apply for any of the branch.
