UES: University Entry Scheme

It is destined for all male and female aspirants those who have attend there Bachelor degree. Both Short Service Commission and Permanent Commission are there in Indian Navy. Essentially for engineers SSC is there through UES.

For Merchant Navy

Creature a Mechanical Engineer, one has to opt for "Engine Department" of Merchant Navy. For receiving into Engine Department of Merchant Navy, one has to start career from the post of "Fifth or Junior Engineer" which ultimately lead to Chief Engineer.

Qualification Required:

Candidates must have a degree in Marine or Mechanical or electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute.

Marine engineering holder will get in directly while Mechanical and Electrical has to undergone 10 months Pre-Sea Training in Marine engineering, which is either offered by recruiting company or candidate has to born itself.

Eligibility: First class first pass.

Age Limit: 25 years.
