Re: MHT CET Papers
MHT CET is conducted by the government of Maharashtra for admission into several colleges of Engineering, Health Sciences and pharmacy in the state of Maharashtra. There is no restrictions as such regarding the dwelling status of the candidates and candidates from states other than the state of Maharashtra, , except Jammu and Kashmir, are also allowed for to the appear for the exam. Examination Scheme The MHT CET comprises of 3 papers of 100 marks each. Papers I: Chemistry (50 marks) & Physics (50 marks) Paper II: Biology (Zoology 50 marks & Botany 50 marks) Papers III: Mathematics (100 marks) The candidates who are choosing for engineering courses must appear for Paper I (Physics and Chemistry) and Papers III (Mathematics) and the candidates who are opting for Pharmacy course must appear for Paper I (Physics and Chemistry) and Papers II (Biology) and/ or paper III (Mathematics). However, the candidates who are opting for Health Sciences, BVSc & AH must appear for Paper I (Physics and Chemistry) and Papers II (Biology). The question papers I and II are available in 3 languages i.e. English, Marathi and Urdu, but the paper III i.e. Mathematics paper is available only in English. The candidates need to observe their choice of language in the application form itself and once the option is exercised, it is irrevocable. Here is the MHT-CET question paper: A body is allowed to slide on a frictional less track from rest under-gravity. The track ends in a circular loop of diameter D. What should be the minimum height of the body in terms of D, so that it may successfully complete the loop? (a) D (b) D (c) D (d) 2D 2 A body is moving along a circular path with variable speed. It has (a) a radial acceleration (b) a tangential acceleration (c) zero acceleration (d) both tangential and radial accelerations 3 A body is traveling in a circle at constant speed. It (a) has constant velocity. (b) has no acceleration (c) has an inward acceleration (d) has an outward radial acceleration 4 A body of mass 100 gram, tied at the end of a string of length 3 m rotates in a vertical circle and is just able to complete the circle. If the tension in the string at its lowest point is 3.7 N, then its angular velocity will be ______ (g = 10 m/s2) (a) 4 rad/s (b) 3 rad/s (c) 2 rad/s (d) 1 rad/s 5 A body of mass 500 gram is rotating in a vertical circle of radius 1 m.
