The TNPCEE examination consist objective questions with multiple options, the question papers have two papers. It consist question from the following subject and the marks distribution:

Physics and chemistry = 50 marks

Mathematics = 50 marks

Total = 100 marks


Biology

Physical Sciences (Questions in Physics and Chemistry)

Mathematics

Vocational Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)

Aptitude Test in Architecture (Compulsory for B. Arch. candidates)

I want to apply for Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE). Will you tell TNPCEE Exam Pattern also provide TNPCEE Syllabus so I can prepare well for exams?

Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) is conducted for admission into various programs.

The entrance examination consists of following papers.

The papers are objective type with multiple choice questions from following areas

• Biology
• Physical Sciences (Questions in Physics and Chemistry)
• Mathematics
• Vocational Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)
• Aptitude Test in Architecture (Compulsory for B. Arch. candidates)

For Medical course the candidates are required to appear in two papers

i.e Biology and Physical Sciences

Paper 1 Physical Science(Physics+Chemistry) 120 questions 50 marks
Paper 2 Biology 90 questions 50 marks

Besides this Qualifying exam marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also considered while ranking for Tamil Nadu Medical Courses Admissions.

The academic marks in the prescribed subjects will be reduced to a base of 200. (Biology 100, Physics + Chemistry= 100) Ranking of the candidates will be done based on the total marks to a maximum of 300 (Entrance Examination 100 and Academic marks 200).

For Engineering and Technology courses the candidates are required to appear in two papers i.e Mathematics and Physical Sciences

Paper 1 Physical Science(Physics+Chemistry) 120 questions 50 marks
Paper 2 Mathematics 90 questions 50 marks
