TNPCEE Exam Date

When will Anna University conduct TNPCEE 2012? What will be the paper pattern of this exam? What are the eligibilities required for applying for this exam?

Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Exam will conduct in first week of May 2012.

Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Exam will consist of 6 paper and these paper are:

Mathematics
Aptitude Test in Architecture (Compulsory for B. Arch. candidates)
Related Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)
Biology
Physical Sciences (Questions in Physics and Chemistry)
Vocational Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)

Eligibility for TNPCEE are:
The candidates have to pass 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognized Board.
Candidates who are waiting for 10+2 results is also eligible for entrance exam.

The candidates, who want to take admission in MBBS / B.Veterinary Sc/ BDS / B. Pharm / B. Sc Nursing /BHMS / BPT / B. Sc (Agriculture)/B. Sc (Forestry) / B. Fisheries Sc programs should have 60% marks in Biology or Zoology and Botany have together and 60% in Physics and Chemistry have together and aggregate of 140/200 in all the above subjects taken together.

For admission into B.E. and B. Tech programs, the candidates have secured 60% marks in Mathematics and Physics and Chemistry taken together and aggregate 140/200 in all the above subjects together.

There is relaxation also for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

candidates who are belong to other states cant take admission into some of the Professional Courses under TNPCEE.

The upper age limit for the candidate is 21 years. Here three year relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

The Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) is an entrance examination for admission in the Engineering and Medical Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.

It is conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
