what is the documentation procedure & age criteria for defense personnel for recruitment in delhi police? The detail about the quota prescribed under Recruitment Rules for Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male in Delhi Police (Appointment & Recruitment) Rules, 1980 is as follows: Method of Recruitment Method of recruitment, whether by direct recruitment or by promotion or by deputation/ transfer & percentage of the vacancies to be filled by various methods 50% of vacancies shall be filled by direct recruitment and 50% by promotion. Out of the 50% of direct recruitment quota:- (i) 10% of the vacancies shall be filled amongst serving Constables, Head Constables and Asstt. Sub-Inspectors enlisted in Delhi Police with a minimum of 3 years continuous service, and (ii) 10% of the vacancies shall be reserved for Ex Serviceman. Out of this, half i.e. 50% of such quota will be reserved for following categories of Ex-Servicemen:- (a) Having served in Special Forces/NSG (Spl. Action Group), (b) Having received a QI Qualified Instructors grading in the commando course. (c) Officers from the Navy/Air Force who have worked in the specialized Commando type units. Education and other qualification required for direct recruits (A) Essential Educational Qualification:- (1) Bachelor degree from a recognised University. (2) One must possess a valid driving licence for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance & Measurement Tests. (B) Essential Physical & Medical Standards:- (a) Height: Minimum 170 cms, relaxable by:- (i) 7.5 cms (162.5 cms) for ST candidates. (ii) 5 cms (165 cms) for residents of hill areas. (b) Chest: 80 cms to 85 cms, relaxable by 3 cms (77 cms to 82 cms) for ST candidates. (c) Weight: Corresponding to height. (d) Medical Standard: (i) The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. (ii) One must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. (iii) They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. (iv) Tattoos on various parts of body:- (a) Content - Tattoos depicting religious symbol or figure and the name, as followed in Indian Army, shall be permitted. (b) Location Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm, but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands shall be allowed. (c) Size Size must be less than of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body. Delhi Police is conducting the recruitment process for 554 Head Constable posts as announced by the Delhi Police. The Delhi Police Online Registration process for Head Constable begins today, 14th October and the last date to apply is 13th November 2019. Relaxation upto 11th class only for Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police only. Sons of serving, deceased, retired police personnel including Multi-tasking staff of Delhi Police. Relaxation upto 11th class only for daughters of serving, deceased, retired police personnel including Multi-tasking staff of Delhi Police. Male applicants must have a valid original Driver’s license for LMV ( Motor Cycle or Car) for the post of constable in Delhi Police as on the date of PE & MT. Also, note that learning license is not acceptable. You can download Delhi Police recruitment form from website of Delhi police or you can take printout of application form from employment newspaper as per format which print in employment news. A passport size photo should be attach with form. A Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque should be attached as fee in favour of DCP/Recruitment, New Police Lines, Delhi (payable at Delhi). With form you should attach of your 10+2 marksheet. Minimum age 18 years required for any post in Delhi Police and maximum age require 28 years.
