Branch and Eligibility:

Unmarried Indian citizens having following minimum qualifications are eligible to apply:

Pilots (Helicopter and fixed wing) Commercial Pilot License holders:
You must have passed 12th class pass with 60% marks in aggregate and should possess current/valid Commercial Pilot license (CPL) approved by DGCA on the date of Preliminary Selection

Age (Born between): 01 Jul 87 to 30 Jun 95 (both dates inclusive)

Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate only for SC/ ST candidates, NCC ‘C’ certificate (‘A’ grade) holders, Sports person of National level (Inter State and above) and Wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service

Selection Process:

Preliminary Selection:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Preliminary Selection at given date and time which will consist of Mental Ability Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.

Final Selection:
The candidates qualifying above Preliminary Selection will be called for Final Selection consist of Psychologist test, Group Testing and Interview (Personality test)

-Asst Commandant General duty (Women): 152 cm
- Asst Commandant (Pilot) and Asst Commandant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders for Short Service Appointment (M/F): Min 162.5 cm and maximum 197 cm, leg length 99 cms

Weight: Proportionate to the Height and Age, plus 10 % acceptable
Chest: Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms

Eye Sight
- Asst Commandant and Asst Comdt GD (Women): 6/6 6/9 (Uncorrected without glass); 6/6-6/6 (Corrected with glass)
