Indian Air Force conducts Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) for candidates to recruit them to Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Officer Branches. It came into existence in the year 2011.

It has issued a notification for the recruitment of Commissioned Officer vacancies for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying & Permanent Commission (PC)/ Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 01/ 2017.

Eligible candidates can apply online from 03-12-2016 to 29-12-2016.

Selection Process:
One will be selected based on Intelligence Test, screening test, Psychological, Group Tests & interview.
