I want to get the details of entrance exam of Indian Forest Service Department of UPSC so can you provide me?

Indian Forest Services Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC for recruitment to forestry services of India.

The IFS pre Exam 2016 was conducted on 7 August, 2016 (CSAT) and Main Exam on 12 November, 2016.

IFS Exam Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects - Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.

Age:

Your age must be between 21 years 32 years on 1st August of the year of exam.

Upper age limit is relaxable in some cases.

Paper II General Knowledge 300
Paper III Optional Subject 1 200
Paper IV Optional Subject 1 200
Paper V Optional Subject 2 200
Paper VI Optional Subject 2 200
Total 1400

After written examination, interview for personality test will be of 300 marks.
