Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examination KEAM Exam is conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala for admissions to various courses like engineering, architecture, medical, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, etc. The application process of KEAM Exam 2017 will tentatively held from the 1st week of January 2017 to Last week of January 2017. KEAM Exam 2017 Tentative dates- Availability of security card along with prospectus 1st week of January 2017 Commencement of online applications 1st week of January 2017 Closing date for online applications Last week of January 2017 Last date for receipt of online application printout Last week of January 2017 Availability of admit cards Last week of March 2017 Examination date (KEAM 2017) Last week of April 2017 Declaration of results Last week of May 2017 KEAM Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech admissions, candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible. For admission in B.Tech programmes under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges, the candidates have to obtain 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. Age Criteria Candidates should be at least 17 years of age by December 31st of the year of admission No upper age limit Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible. Examination Pattern The examination will be having two papers. One for the engineering and another for the medical. Each examination paper will be having 120. For each correct answer, four marks will be given and for wrong answer one mark will be deducted. The examination will be held in 2 parts with duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes for each part. There will be MCQ type questions in the KEAM 2017 examination. The examination will be held in offline mode. There will be total 120 questions in each paper. The applicants will be given 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.
