Indian Forest Service Exam

My name is Neeta and I want to be an IFS officer. Would you please tell me about the eligibility to apply for the exam ? Also give me the list of optional subjects.

To be eligible for Indian Forest Service Exam the candidate should have Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects:

Statistics and Zoology
Geology
Mathematics
Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
Botany
Chemistry
Physics

Or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent

Candidates appearing at their degree examination are also eligible to apply.
