The Defense Research & Development Organization works under Department of Defense Research and Development of Ministry of Defense. The DRDO every year conducts a Scientist Entry Test (SET) on all India basis for the recruitment of scientists ‘B’ posts. DRDO SET is conducted on all India bases in the month of September, depending on the requirements. The advertisement generally appears during the month of April / May every year. Qualification Candidates have Atleast first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates having first class bachelor degree (minimum 60 % marks) in engineering, technology, electronics, communication, mechanical engineering and computer science can apply for SET exam. Age Limit: For DRDO SET Exam is 28 years DRDO SET Exam Pattern DRDO SET exam is of three hours duration consisting of two sections section A and Section B. Section ‘A’ is of 100 questions to test the candidate’s knowledge in the subject of their BE / B.Tech (for Engg discipline) or M.Sc (for Science Discipline). Section ‘B’ is of 50 questions to test the candidate’s ability in analytical and qualitative skills, current affairs and general awareness to test the aptitude and scientific knowledge required for Applied Research & Development.
