Kuvempu University is a public state university located in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1987 by the act of the Karnataka state legislature through an amendment No.28/1976


Ph.D Entrance Exam of this University was held on 7th January 2016 (Thursday) at 12 Noon to 01.15 PM (75 Minutes)

Question Paper Pattern:

The test comprises of 50 multiple choice items on above topics, each test item carries 02 marks.

Total Marks: 100

The candidates who have cleared JRF/NET/K-SET/SLET/Sponsored Candidates/Project fellows/Foreign candidates/M.Phil are are exempted from entrance test
