IIT Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

I want to take admission in Indian Institute Of Technology for do M Tech so please tell its required eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for M.Tech program offered by IIT’s is that the candidate must have done Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in an appropriate area and a valid GATE score in that area of Engineering.

For M.Tech in Biotechnology the candidates having valid NET certificate or GATE score are eligible to apply.

Computer Science & Engineering:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent in relevant area from a recognized Institution and a valid GATE score in CS or IT

Electronics & Electrical Engineering:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or Equivalent and valid GATE score in EC/EE

Mechanical Engineering:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in concerned area and valid GATE score

Civil Engineering:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in relevant area and a valid GATE score in CE

Chemical Engineering
