Hello, I want to take admission in M.Tech. program at IISC, Bangalore so please impart me its eligibility criteria.

Hello, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, invites application for Master of Engineering programs in different department.

The courses offered here are Master of Engineering, Master of Technology and Master of Design along with PhD admissions.

Its M.Tech programs, include:
(i) Electronic Systems Engineering,
(ii) Computational Science ,
(iii) Climate Science,
(iv) Transportation & Infrastructure Engineering and
(v) Instrumentation.

Eligibility Criteria:-
You have a minimum of second class in Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of Engineering/ Technology or equivalent degree with valid GATE score are eligible to apply.

minimum of second class in the following qualifying degree with valid GATE score are eligible to apply:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Master’s degree in:-
Science,
Physical Sciences,
Mathematics,
Statistics,
Geology,
Instrumentation,
Electronics or
Master’s in Computer Application.

Selection is based on an aptitude test and interview subsequent to short-listing which is based on valid GATE score.

You should qualify in the GATE paper.

Application Fee: RS 600/- For General and Rs 300/- for SC/ST/PH

M.Tech/ M.E Admissions Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent.

Bachelor’s degree holders in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design

Master’s degree holders in Science disciplines including Physics with Electronics/ Computer Application/ Instrumentation/Geology/ Physical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences as applicable to individual department offering M Tech programmes

Selection Procedure:
GATE score, a written test and a personal interview.
