Maximum Age To Join The Navy

hii sir, my son wants to join the Indian Navy will you please tell me what is the Minimum age Required to join the Indian Navy ?

The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India serves as Supreme Commander of the Indian Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff, usually a four-star officer in the rank of Admiral, commands the navy.

Eligibility Criteria of Age to join the Indian Navy are given below


Age limits :
12th people upto 19yrs'
graduate holders upto 23(IAF) and 24(navy)
post graduate holders upto 27


Age limits with the posts for both Men and women are given below :

NCC Special Entry Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala 19 - 24
PC Naval Armament Inspection Centre 19½ - 25
PC Law Cadre Men 22 - 27
PC Logistics cadre 19½ - 25

Other Eligibility Criteria :
f your interested to apply for the examination and then you need to finished 12th examination from a recognized broad or equivalent qualification.

Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination. There is no chance for girls to apply for this examination. This examination is only for boys.

Candidates who are appearing in the final year of 12th examination can also apply for this examination.

The selection procedure of the examination is SSB interview and Written examination .And Medical test also.
