Join Merchant Navy after B.Tech ECE

I am studying B.Tech ECE. I want to join Merchant Navy after my B.Tech Degree. So can you tell me that I can join or not?

To join Merchant Navy, you have to appear in the CDS Examination conducted by the UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria
The Candidates must have a citizen of India.

The Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree from any recognized University.

The age of candidates must be between 19 to 22 years.

Medical test

Exam Covers following Subjects:

General Knowledge - 100 marks
General English - 100 marks
Elementary Maths - 100 marks
