here I am giving you information about required eligibility for deck cadet to Join Merchant Navy below .. Deck cadet – You have to pass a diploma in Nautical Science. The minimum education qualification is 10+2 with P.C.M (Physics, Chemistry and Math) as compulsory subjects and you must scored minimum 50% in aggregate and 50% in English at 12th level. Age Limit : 16-25 Years Medical Standards: Candidates should be physically and Mentally strong, fit for sea-services under standard norms Eye-Sight : 6/6 without glasses, No color Blindness.

The Merchant Navy entrance test is carried out for the admittance of aspirants into its engineering and navigational fields. The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is carried out mainly for assessing the aspirants’ understanding in mathematics, chemistry and physics.
