Can you tell me the process to register for Payment of Octroi online through MCGM or Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai?

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai Local Bodies is empowered to collect Octroi tax on entry of goods for use/consumption within areas of the Local Bodies.

The rules for Octroi are defined in Corporation Act. These rules may be called the Mumbai Municipal Corporation (levy) of octroi rules, 1965. They shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1965.
