ITBP SI Overseer

I am planning to apply for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Sub-Inspector (Overseer) (Group ‘B’) post and want all details related to this. Will you tell me eligibility and qualification required for this also tell me what the pay scale given to ITBP SI Overseer (Group ‘B’) post?

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Force was founded or established on October 24, 1962.

Indo Tibetan Border Police Force conducts the exam for filling up the vacant Non Gazetted posts of Sub-Inspector (Overseer) (Group ‘B’)

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Sub Inspector (Overseer) is 20 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Sub Inspector (Overseer) is 25 years.

Upper age limit set for the specified post is relaxable by 5 years for the SC/ST candidates while OBC candidates will get relaxation of minimum 3 years.

Relaxation of 3 years is also available for the EX-Serviceman candidates.

Physical Standards:

Minimum Height: 170 cms with weight proportionate to height and age.
Chest: Unexpanded - 80 cms and Expanded - 85 cms.

Educational Qualification:

Matriculation or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification required to be possessed for applying for the post of Sub-Inspector in Indo Tibetan Border Police Force.

Method of Selection :

Selection of Sub-Inspectors in ITBP is conducted in two parts

Part-I
Consists of a written tests in General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability and English language
Part-II
Has the Physical Efficiency Test, medical examination and interview.

Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
