Can you tell me if I can apply for the post of Constable (Tradesmen) has completed Diploma in Engineering in ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) Force under Ministry of Home Affairs?

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of India augment in 1962 in the wake of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. It was intended for deployment along India's border with Chinese-occupied Tibet.

It is trained in Civil Medical Camp, disaster management, and nuclear, biological and chemical disasters. Its personnel organize abroad in UN peacekeeping missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Haiti, Western Sahara, Sudan, Afghanistan and elsewhere. Two battalions of ITBP are deputed to National Disaster Response Force.

Education Qualification:
Interested applicants should have passed 10th/ ITI/ Diploma from recognized Board as per post applied.

Experience: (for Constable (Tailor Gardener & Cobbler posts only)
Two years work experience in concerned trade Or
One year certificate from Industrial Training Institute/Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in relevant trade. Or
Two years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade.

Selection Process : Candidates will have to undergo the following process to get selected:
Height Bar
Race
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Trade Tests
Written Test (OMR Based)

Merit List
Pay Band:
Candidates will be appointed on pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-.

Documents to be attach:

Mark sheets of 10th/12th with ITI certificates.
Caste certificate (if SC/ST/OBC),
Discharge certificate in case of ex-servicemen.
NOC in original from their present employer in case of Govt. Servant
Domicile Certificate issued by local revenue authorities or PAN Card or Aadhaar Card or Driving License or Voter Card
Height/ chest relaxation certificate
