Default TET Details in AP

I have done B.Ed and now I am looking to take part in Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test so I want to know about its exam paper pattern and exam schedule and who is eligible for taking part in this exam and give me its syllabus and study materials?

As there is no notification about the APTET I am providing you the details of the APTET so that you can check tentatively around these dates for the current year.

ELIGIBILITY:
Candidate applying for the APTET should have the min qualifications as per teacher for category I to V classes (Paper – I) and VI to VIII classes (paper-II) as given below or should be pursuing Teacher Education Course during 2011-12 or earlier

Important dates:
Date of starting of filling the application form: 23.03.2012
APTET 2012: 31.05.2012

Schedule of examinations:

DATE OF EXAMINATION PAPER TIMING & DURATION
31.05.2012(Thursday) I 09.30 a.m. to 12.00 Noon 2.30 Hours
31.05.2012(Thursday) II 02.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m 2.30 Hours

Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test is being conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh School Education Department. Following are the details of this test:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed in 2 - year Diploma in Education.

PAPER- I Syllabus(for Classes I to V)Structure and Content (All Compulsory):
1.Child Development and Pedagogy: MCQs-30, Marks -30
2 Language I ;MCQs-30, Marks -30
3 Language II (English): MCQs-30, Marks -30
4 Mathematics :MCQs-30, Marks -30
5 Environmental Studies : MCQs-30, Marks -30
TOTAL: MCQs-150, Marks -150

PAPER - II Syllabus (for classes VI to VIII);
No of MCQs – 150;
Duration of examination: 2 ½ hours.
Structure and Content:
1.Child Development and Pedagogy: MCQs-30, Marks -30
2 Language I: MCQs-30, Marks -30
3 Language II (English): MCQs-30, Marks -30
4 Mathematics and Science: MCQs-60, Marks -60
OR
Social Studies
TOTAL: MCQs-150, Marks -150

As you want to apply for the Teacher Entrance Test conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Board. For that I will help you here to get the exam dates, eligibility criteria and paper pattern so that you can easily apply for the exam.

Here I’m telling you tentative date for the exam I.e. 1st week of September 2016


Here is the exam syllabus of TET

TET Paper I- Structure and Content (All Compulsory): (Class I to V)
(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Total 150 MCQs 150 Marks

TET Paper II Duration of examination – one-and-a-half hours – (for classes VI to VIII):

Structure and Content:

Here is the eligibility criteria for the APTET exam

Should have acquired the academic and professional qualifications in any field.

A person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI are eligible

The eligibility condition for appearing in TET may be relaxed in respect of a State/UT which has been granted relaxation under sub-section (2) of section 23 of the RTE Act. The relaxation will be specified in the Notification issued by the Central Government under that sub-section.
