Eligibility criteria for admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) course is strictly based on rules and regulations of MCI (Medical Council of India). The candidate needs to pass the qualifying Exam as under: Candidate needs to pass the qualifying exam which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or its equivalent exam. The last two years of study of the applicant must comprise Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject One need to pass these subjects individually and scored at least 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition, in the competitive entrance test, the candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribes or Other Backward Class students the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying exam and competitive entrance exam shall be 40% instead of 50% as for General Category. Age: The candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
