MBBS or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery is a professional degree which is conferred by the medical schools and colleges in India. Duration of MBBS — -Duration of the MBBS course is 4.5 years. -After completing this, the students need to undergo a Mandatory Rotating Residential Internship which takes 12 months. Eligibility Criteria of MBBS— -You should score at least 50% in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and English in their Higher Secondary or 10+2 exams. -In India, in case of reserved category students (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Classes), the prerequisite is 40%. - Age of the student should be between 17 years to 25 years.
