The Graduate Record Examination is a widely accepted entrance exam conducted for the purpose of admission in several courses offered at various foreign Universities.

Eligibility:

There are no limitations based on age or education.
The graduate applicants take the GRE (General) test and GRE subject test.
The GRE scores are used by the admissions authorities or fellowship panels to supplement undergraduate academic, extracurricular records and other qualifications for graduate study.

Graduate Record Examination is an accepted entrance exam conducted for admission in several courses offered at various foreign Universities.

Eligibility for GRE:

Exam is conducted for admission into graduate level, post graduate level as well as doctoral programs.

There are not any academic qualification criteria.

Age:
No age limit.

Exam pattern:


The exam is generally of two formats.

In the first format, the test will be generic. The test comprises of 4 sections:
Analytical writing skills
Verbal reasoning
Critical thinking
Quantitative reasoning

First one will be a written test.

All other sections will be of objective type.

The total time allotted for this exam will be 4 hours.

The subject wise examination is also conducted for certain specializations. These include:
Biochemistry,
Cell and Molecular Biology
Biology
Chemistry
Computer Science
Literature in English
History of the language
Mathematics
Physics
Psychology
