You have to pass Karnataka 2 PUC/12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subject … and it is also needed that you must have secured 50% marks in aggregate.

Government Direction, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admissions to Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturapathy and Yoga, Engineering, B.Sc Agriculture, Sericulture, Forestry, Horticulture, B-Pharma, D-Pharma courses.

Here I am giving you details about Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for admissions to Medical and Dental courses for the academic year.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have pass Karnataka 2 PUC or 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subject and English with one of the languages of study with 50% marks in aggregate.

Application Form:
Brochure-cum-Application Form will be supplied through the schools/colleges located within State of Karnataka.

Exam Fees:
Rs. 550/- by Demand Draft to the Principals of the schools or colleges, drawn in favor of:

Entrance Exam:
Candidates from SC, ST and other category must have secured minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects and 40 % marks in KCET Medical Entrance Exam.
