Will you please give me detail about ICWA Articleship??????

The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) is all set to mandate a three-year articleship against the six-month at present.

The step is expected to not only help students get a better hands-on experience in various concepts of cost accountancy but also lend an air of seriousness to the course itself.

A longer articleship would mean that students will not take up ICWAI as an alternate along with other courses but accord it all a full-time status.

Student working in areas other than those specified in Clause 3 shall be required to have experience or training of minimum six months in the specified areas as in clause 3 in addition to at least two and a half years experience in other than specified areas.

After completion of the prescribed training, a student shall submit the Training Completion Certificate duly signed by the Principal/ Employer to the Institute. "Practical Training Completion Certificate" shall be issued to the student by the Institute
