First of all you must know exam pattern and syllabus for IIT JAM entrance examination .. now you have to make important notes for important topics and high weight age sections and revised them regularly ..
For better preparation you have to solve previous year papers of IIT JAM exam Or you can buy books for the Preparation of it

Exam pattern :
Exam pattern: Both objective and descriptive
Negative marking: Yes – 1/3rd marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
