JEE (Main) age limit

I want to know the age limit to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main), can you tell me the same?????

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) is being conducted for admissions to the engineering courses across the country. Following are the details of this examination:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have cleared examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.

Age limit:
General Candidates Born or after October 01, 1989 Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates - Born or after October 01, 1984

Number of Allowed attempts:
03 (three)
